Ramanathaswamy Temple is a significant Hindu temple located in Rameswaram, in the Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu, India. Dedicated to Lord Shiva as Ramanathaswamy, it is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the holiest shrines of Shiva worship, and an important pilgrimage site for Hindus. The temple is renowned for its rich history, architectural grandeur, and religious significance.
- The temple is deeply linked to the Ramayana. According to Hindu mythology, after Lord Rama (the seventh incarnation of Vishnu) defeated the demon king Ravana, he sought the blessings of Lord Shiva to absolve any sins incurred during the war.
- Rama instructed his ally, Hanuman, to bring a Shiva Lingam from the Himalayas. However, due to time constraints, Hanuman could not return in time, so Rama built a Shiva Lingam from the coastal sand at Rameswaram, which is now worshipped as Ramanathaswamy.
- The temple is therefore considered sacred for its association with both Lord Shiva and Lord Rama.

I recently did an online Navagraha Puja for my health and career,only minor issue was the slight variation in the timing of the puja compared to what was originally communicated.
